Terms & Conditions

  1. Scope of Services:

The Camellia herein after referred as Event Manager agrees to the management of decorations and other event related services as outlined in proposal attached hereto. The specific details of the services, including the date, time, and location of the event, are set forth in proposal.

  1. Payment:

In consideration for the services provided by the Event Manager, the Client agrees to pay the total management fee amount mentioned in proposal. Payment shall be made in installments as follows:

Initial Deposit: Due upon the submitting this form, which is non-refundable.

Final Payment: The remaining balance shall be paid in full. Upon arrival of Event Manager to the venue.

  1. Changes and Cancellations:
  2. a) Changes: The Client may request changes to the agreed-upon services in writing. The Event Manager will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such changes, and any additional costs incurred will be discussed and agreed upon by both parties.
  3. b) Cancellations: In the event of cancellation by the Client, the Event Manager shall retain the initial deposit. If the cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event date, the Client is responsible for the payment of the total agreed-upon amount.
  4. Responsibilities:
  5. a) Event Manager’s Responsibilities: The Event Manager will manage the agreed-upon decoration services in a professional manner and ensure that all decorations are set up and taken down promptly.
  6. b) Client’s Responsibilities: The Client will provide accurate and timely information regarding the event, including venue details and any specific preferences for the decorations. The Client is also responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions or permits required by the venue. The Client will be solely responsible for handling any caution deposits required by the venue for the decoration services.
  7. Sub Vendor Payments:

The Client agrees to make payments directly to any sub-vendors engaged by the Event Manager for specific elements of the decoration services. The Event Manager will provide an itemized list of such sub-vendors and associated costs.

The Client is responsible for ensuring timely payments directly to these sub-vendors.

  1. Intellectual Property:

The Event Manager retains all intellectual property rights to any designs or concepts created and used in the decoration services. The Client may use the decorations solely for the purpose of the event and may not reproduce, distribute, or use them for any other purpose without the Event Manager’s written consent.

  1. Photography Rights:

The Client grants the Event Manager full permission to use photographs and/or videos of the decorated event for marketing and promotional purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, the Event Manager’s portfolio, website, social media, and promotional materials. The Client acknowledges and agrees that they will not seek any royalty fee or compensation for the use of these photographs or videos by the Event Manager.

  1. Indemnification:

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Event Manager harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of or related to the decoration services, including but not limited to any damages or injuries caused by the decorations to persons or property.

  1. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tamil Nadu, India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the [Arbitration Organization], and judgment upon the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
